The purpose of this work is to keep the community a space where people can play freely AND be safe. The community is, for the most part, already safe: only a small fraction of participants cause harm, and the aim is to stabilise the community.

If left open This is the tacit yardstick behind many later judgement calls. Leaving it open means 'free but safe' can be read two ways — permissive or protective — and members will disagree in specific cases without a shared reference point.

  • Deliberately hold both and publish worked examples of acceptable vs unacceptable spillover
