As an in-ecosystem reference, AfrikaBurn processes incidents under three non-exhaustive, overlapping categories, handled case by case: Harm to People (to self: acute intoxication, missed medication, ignoring medical or safety instructions, acute mental-health risk; to others: violence and abuse — physical, verbal, psychological, emotional, GBV, racism — sexual trauma/assault/rape, spiking, intoxicated driving, reckless or negligent behaviour, poor supplier labour conditions, unhygienic camps, breaking disease protocols, unsecured artwork), Risk to Culture (plug-and-play profiteering, MOOP, SOOP, ostentatious branding, influencing, product promotion, refusing to support a consent-based culture, vending, drug dealing), and Damage to or Theft of Property (theft of equipment, personal or intellectual property, vandalism of artworks or Mutant Vehicles, destruction of heritage or environment, interference with infrastructure, abuse of resources). The sources also sketch Jozi's own starting definition of Community Safety — including excessive substance use and driving under the influence, explicitly non-exhaustive.
