SYN-024

Reporter support and zero retaliation

People who report are protected by a zero-retaliation stance and are never left to face the situation alone — an organised group stands with them, and everyone has a known, dependable route to safety when facing a problem. The system must also let people raise concerns without feeling they are overreacting, including the option of addressing the matter directly with the person involved, supported.

Deliberately left open — OPIN-009 — how the community treats reporters is the sources' framing question; this draft is its first answer.
